Cette mise à jour logicielle inclut des centaines d’améliorations relatives aux performances et à la stabilité, basées sur les feedbacks des utilisateurs.
La version bêta publique 3 de DaVinci Resolve 16 comprend une amélioration du rendu des polices et de l'alignement de la fonction Elastic Wave pour l’audio, une sortie timecode pour les applications audio externes, un meilleur encodage H.264 et H.265 avec le matériel AMD et une amélioration des chutiers paramétrables.
Enfin, elle offre une meilleure prise en charge des codecs pour les formats H.264, H.265, MJPEG, ARX, AVCHD, DNxHR 444 et bien plus.

Cette version nécessite un dongle DaVinci Resolve ou un code d’activation logiciel.

Informations importantes concernant la base de données

DaVinci Resolve 16 requiert une mise à jour de la base de données de DaVinci Resolve 15.3.1 et des versions précédentes. Il est vivement recommandé d'effectuer une sauvegarde de votre base de données actuelle (à la fois DiskDB et PostgreSQL) avant d'installer cette nouvelle version.


Notes de Pré-installation

- DaVinci Resolve 16 inaugure la prise en charge des préférences et des configurations au niveau Utilisateur du système d'exploitation. Lorsque vous démarrez DaVinci Resolve 16 pour la toute première fois, vos fichiers de configuration au niveau global, les configurations de fenêtres, les journaux d'activité ainsi que d'autres préférence seront copiés dans le dossier de l'utilisateur. Les fichiers existants au niveau Système ne seront pas modifiés et fonctionneront encore avec les versions précédentes. Toute modification apportée au Système ou aux Préférences utilisateur dans DaVinci Resolve 16 ne seront pas appliquées aux versions précédentes.

- DaVinci Resolve 16.0 requiert une mise à jour de la base de donnée DaVinci Resolve 15.3.1 et des versions précédentes. Il est vivement conseillé de sauvegarder votre base de donnée actuelle (à la fois DiskDB et PostgreSQL) avant d'installer cette mise à jour.

- DaVinci Resolve 16.0 requiert une carte graphique avec un strict minimum de  2Go of VRAM compatible Metal, OpenCL 1.2 ou CUDA 10. Ceci concerne aussi bien les cartes d'affichage que de traitement. Veuillez installer les derniers drivers graphiques Windows et Linux recommandés par les fabricants.

Mise à niveau du serveur de base de données PostgreSQL sur Mac

Jusqu'à DaVinci Resolve 12.5.2, le programme d'installation Mac comprenait PostgreSQL version 8.4.2. A partir de macOS Sierra 10.12, PostgreSQL version 8.4 n'est plus pris en charge. Si vous avez prévu d'installer cette dernière version de système, il sera nécessaire de mettre à jour le serveur PostgreSQL en version 9.5.4 avant de mettre à jour macOS. Une fois que votre installation PostgreSQL a été actualisée et vos données mises à jour, vous pouvez enchainer avec la mise à jour de macOS.

Afin de faciliter la mise à niveau de PostgreSQL sur votre Mac, Blackmagic fournit des applications qui peuvent être téléchargés ici:

/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Upgrade PostgreSQL folder

A partir de DaVinci Resolve 12.5.3, les nouvelles installations incluent PostgreSQL version 9.5.4.


Installation du logiciel DaVinci

Il suffit de double cliquer sur l'icône DaVinci Resolve Installer puis de suivre les instructions qui vous sont présentées à l'écran. Redémarrez l'ordinateur après installation.

Afin de supprimer DaVinci Resolve de votre configuration, double-clic sur l'icône "Uninstall Resolve" à partir du dossier DaVinci Resolve dans le dossier Applications.
